  2. She is an American actress. Aimee Garcia was born in Chicago, Illinois.
  3. Her mother, Eloisa, is from Pachuca, Hidalgo, Mexico, and graduated from Northwestern University’s dental school; her father, Hector, is from San Juan, Puerto Rico, and was in the U.S. Armed Forces.
  4. Garcia started acting in commercials as a child and participated in theater at seven years old.

  11. She portrayed Maria on The WB’s Greetings from Tucson and appeared in the unaired pilot episode of Global Frequency.
  12. She had a role in the Disney Channel original movie Cadet Kelly (2002), and co-starred as Lydia, alongside Anthony Anderson in The WB sitcom All About the Andersons.

  20. She hails from Detroit, has four brothers, and claims to have a somewhat criminal past, having stolen cars. This is reflected in the season 3 bonus episode “Once Upon a Time”, set in an alternate universe, where she is a criminal carjacker and mechanic.
  21. She also knows how to defuse bombs, which she successfully did to save everyone’s lives in the season 4 episode “Expire Erect”.
  22. Ella has a devout Catholic faith and wears a crucifix, leading both Lucifer and Chloe to ask questions about her faith.
  23. She has a nun aunt, who taught her that to doubt things were important, and so Ella believes questioning things, looking at things from different angles, makes her a better scientist.
  24. In 2019, Garcia starred in the independent film El Chicano, receiving praise from The Hollywood Reporter for her performance’s “vivid impression”.
  25. Garcia co-wrote the comic book series GLOW vs. The Babyface with former professional wrestler AJ Mendez, based on the television series GLOW; the first of four issues were published by IDW Publishing in November 2019.
  26. Garcia and Mendez reunited to write the Dungeons & Dragons comic series At the Spine of the World; its first issue will be published by IDW in October 2020.
